Some of Wayne's Favorite Utube Video's

 Favorite utube videos and lp's

Bruce Cockburn at the Bing Lounge performing "Mystery" and "Wondering where the Lions Are" on tube.

John Mayer's acoustic version of "Heart of Life".

Fretkillr....this mystery man of utube has taken down his site...but others have reposted his songs.  One of my favorites is his rendition of  Danny O'Keefe's "Good Time Charlies got the Blues'.

Shut Up and Play...I just came upon this wonderful tutorial site.  I will be learning Lindsay Buckinghams "Never going back again"...so well explained here...

James Taylor....Tutorials...Learn to play "Fire and Rain" by James himself.  (They  mounted a camera inside the guitar sound hole which shows his fingerpicking.)

TorontoLarrivee....check his cover of Bruce Cockburns "When its Gone, its Gone"....and his original "Between the Waves".  His tutorials are almost exclusively Bruce Cockburn and Bob Dylan.  His version of Dylans "If not for You", is very unique.

 M. Ward....M. performs "Chinese Translation" on both Bing Lounge ...and on Letterman...with the band.  BTW..Bing Lounge is a great acoustic website as is NPR'S Desktop series.

Barbara Jean...."Siren Song"..such a nice sound....making the banjo sound cool!

John Gorka's rendition of Rod McKuen's  "Loves Been Good To Me" or anything John Gorka plays!

Eliza Gilkyson the whole "Paradise Hotel" lp

Tom Rush His rendition of Jackson Brownes "These Days"

Chris Smither "Killing the Blues".  (Learn to play this, taught by Chris himself on Homespun Videos).

Greg Brown rendition of Pete Seeger's "Sailing Down the Golden River" and "The Laughing River".

The late great Jesse Winchester "Defying Gravity"

The late great Townes Van Zandt  "To live is to Fly"

The late great Guy Clark "Watermelon Dream"

Nick Lowe "True Love Travels on a Dirt Road"

Jerry Jeff Walker's rendition of Paul Siebels "Long Afternoons".  Two versions....love them both.

Kris Kristofferson's "Moment of Forever"

Karla Bonoff's "Water is Wide" From the LP "Restless Nights" with Accordion

Rob and Rick ...."Dance with me" by Orleans.  Guitar and Banjo.
